Below are a few ways you can help us by being a volunteer with BHSM. Your time, talents, and much more during our annual event and throughout the year is greatly appreciated.
Fundraising
We are most in need of individuals that can promote the event to local businesses to secure sponsorship opportunities. These sponsorships are what allow us to make the day a reality, so please consider donating some of your time to this effort.
Event Setup
Help organize, decorate, and monitor the walking course for the day.
Parking Attendants
We need two or three individuals to monitor traffic flow and direct individuals to registration.
Registration
This is one of the most critical positions of the entire day. We need some quick-on-their-feet individuals to help us make sure that registration runs smoothly and that all of the guests have a great day!
Kids Section Chaperone
During the walk and after, there will be a fun-filled children’s section with different activities. We need some willing young adults or adults willing to facilitate the activities.
Event Clean-up
The most important volunteer slot of all! Please consider signing up to help us ensure that the site is as beautiful when we leave as we found it in the morning.
I’m willing to do anything!
This slot is by far the most important because it allows us to place you in critically needed spots that have yet to be filled.
I’m interested in volunteering for other committees or activities
We need volunteers to help us plan, host, and sponsor other activities throughout the year.
